Let Go of Scarcity 🌒
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” — Wayne Dyer
"The root of jealousy is often the belief that there isn’t enough. Trust that abundance exists for you, too."
I recall watching a good friend show off a shiny new car. The color gleamed in the sunlight, and my heart tightened.
An odd wave of jealousy washed over me.
I caught myself thinking, “Why do they get all the good things?”
But deep in my thoughts, I knew this wasn’t about the car.
It was about that old fear telling me resources are limited and success is only for a chosen few. That’s the belief: “There’s never enough to go around.”
But is that the truth? Or is it just a story we’ve been telling ourselves, a script we carry from one situation to the next?
Clocked yourself feeling envious this week?
Good.
Grab a notebook. Open your notes app.
Write it down. No edits. No sugarcoating. Just the truth.
Now, ask yourself: Am I spinning a story where I’m left out? Undeserving? Always a step behind?
Challenge it. Flip the script.
Name two good things that landed in your lap recently.
Big or small. Doesn’t matter.
Proof that life isn’t stingy, even when your mind says otherwise.
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” — Wayne Dyer
Flip the lens, and suddenly, doors appear where you swore there were only walls.
Jealousy isn’t just discomfort—it’s a flashing sign, a blunt reminder that more exists. More options. More angles. More than you’ve let yourself believe.
Pay attention. It’s not just envy. It’s a map.
Ever felt envy claw at you? That gnawing sense of not enough? Maybe a friend posted snapshots from some faraway paradise. Maybe someone else snagged the opportunity you swore was yours. That gut twist. That sharp inhale. Why them? Why not me?
What did you do with it? Did it push you? Wake you up? Reveal something you hadn’t admitted to yourself?
Tell us. Spill the truth. Someone out there might need to hear it.
Jealousy isn’t a cage. It’s a signal. A nudge to question the script looping in your mind. The one whispering there’s not enough, you’re falling behind, someone else took what should have been yours.
Flip it. What if abundance isn’t a race? What if what’s meant for you can’t be swiped, hoarded, or lost?
Trust that. Trust your path.
What’s yours will land, no grasping, no chasing, no scarcity required.
