Time to Question Everything 🔍
"Men are disturbed not by things, but by the view which they take of them." — Epictetus
"Your core beliefs either empower you or hold you back. The choice to challenge them is yours."
Years ago, I knew someone certain he couldn't achieve success.
Not just doubtful, certain. He repeated it like a stubborn mantra, "I just don't have what it takes." And guess what? His life presented itself accordingly.
Opportunities passed him by.
Doors slammed shut. A sad prediction fulfilled itself, over and over. But his limitations weren't real. They were self-imposed shackles.
Remember Frodo from The Lord of the Rings?
He wasn't big, strong, or special. But his belief, his willingness to challenge what others (and even he himself) thought possible, made the difference.
We’re all Frodo at times. The quest is ours.
The question remains…
Which beliefs help you carry the ring, and which ones simply weigh you down?
Grab your journal, a piece of paper, or even your phone… right now.
Identify one core belief about yourself that's limiting your potential.
Ask honestly, "Is this really true? Who said so?"
Replace it with a belief that actually moves you forward. Write it boldly, clearly, and intentionally.
Practice saying it aloud each day. Watch closely.
Things change quickly when you question the stories you've told yourself.
"Men are disturbed not by things, but by the view which they take of them." — Epictetus
The events of life are neutral, it’s our perspective that gives them power.
What’s one core belief you've challenged lately? Did you find resistance, liberation, or something entirely surprising on the other side?
Share your reflections below.
Your insights might just illuminate someone else's path forward.
You have the power to edit your narrative.
Old beliefs are merely sentences you've rehearsed. Time to rewrite them, intentionally. Make no mistake, the pen is yours. You shape your story, so write something worth living.
Keep questioning, keep evolving. I’m right beside you.
Warmly,
— Ryan Puusaari
